Returning to his desk, he leaned back in the seat and recollected what he had read in her journal. He knew she was good at writing her deepest thoughts and ideas vividly describing anything and everything. That journal, there was something about it, he just looked back with his photographic memory, he knew that there was something that she was holding back. He knew it had to be her emotional pain she was holding onto. She just wanted to spill her guts out and let all the pain and torture that she had been going through out. There was no possible way that she could do it, especially since she didn’t know him that well. She still ceased to trust him.
He looked at the clock on the wall realizing that thirty minutes had passed; it was time for him to call Sean and inform him of how the meeting went. It was the usual routine, Destiny would leave and he would wait to make sure that she had enough time to leave to call Sean and inform him of the progress or so called progress of her counseling. In all actuality, he was calling to make sure that she had enough time to get home safely. Jaxon knew that Destiny was in an emotional rollercoaster at this time, and this was the only way that he could have actual contact with her to know how she is without letting her know his true identity. He hated doing this but there was really no way around it. He had to keep this masquerade up until he knew the coast was clear.
Sean jumped startled from the phone ringing; he grabbed the phone from the cradle and placed it to his ear. "Yep," Sean greeted.
"Hey, Sean," said the familiar voice. "Des just left, irate and cocky as usual. She almost broke down crying tonight, but I made a smart remark and that cut it quickly. I really hate going about it this way, it doesn’t feel right, but I know this is the only way."
"Yea, I know bro, but like you said, this is the best for her right now. How's little man by the way? Called home yet?" said Sean as he looked out the front window of the duplex to see if Destiny was coming down the road.
"No, not yet, he should still be at soccer practice. I’ll be leaving to pick him up as soon as I’m done here. Both of them are fucking cocky, identical enough that it’s scary. At least I know he gets it honestly," he chuckled. "She looked great tonight. Has she been taking care of herself?"
Sean sat back in the recliner and imagined exactly what she looked like when she got out of the shower and got dressed. Her hair dripping wet and curling up as she towel dried her hair. Her curvaceous body in that hour glass figure. Her full firm breasts, perky nipples, and her round muscular ass that fits perfectly in any type of pants, were dripping wet as she stepped out of the shower and into the bedroom to towel dry off.
"Yea, she did look pretty good. She was pretty nervous about coming to meet you today," Sean said trying to take the perverted tone out before Jaxon suspected anything.
"Really?" asked Jaxon sitting down on the couch thinking deeply. "Is she doing okay? She did act a bit more emotional tonight than usual."
"She's ok. She’s been eating right. However, she made a comment earlier this morning that she felt like there was something about you that made her uncomfortable yet oddly at peace to be around. Des keeps asking me just where and how I met you. I still find all this kind of funny," said Sean peeping out the living room window again.
"Well just try to keep stalling as long as you can. I really do appreciate this Sean. One day Destiny will finally be happy. I guarantee it," said Jaxon anxiously confident. "I've got to get going to pick up Devon in a few minutes. I'll talk to you later, man."
"No problem, bro. I need to get off of here myself. I think that this is Des coming up the road any ways. Don't need another interrogation by her again. It's hard enough keeping your secret as is. Later bro," said Sean placing the phone down by him on the couch.
