Jake

"Tommy. Tommy." She whispers, Tom is hugging Ethan softly and Ethan has his glasses on so he's okay.

"Its not your fault, I know that now because Isa told me so, and I believe her. I'm sorry for being stubborn, my dad always says that my stubbornness will get me into big trouble, if only I had listened then I wouldn't be out here, hmm, I didn't know death was this painful am sorry." Tom slowly drops dead as Ethan catches him, Ethan looks at his blood stained hand which he killed his brother with, his mouth still flowing from the blood, poor Tommy was dead. 

I could feel Ethan's blood grip losen and fall down with the others. We were panting like hell when Mirabel began crawling towards the body, surprisingly she pushed Ethan aside and rested on his body, "Tom, Tommy, Thomas, wake up, please open your eyes, don't leave me I've already lost your father, Tommy please open your eyes, open your eyes Tommy." She cried.

     "Big brother" Isabelle cried when she ran in, this was too much, we couldn't believe our eyes, Ethan had killed his brother and Mirabel was running mad.

Quickly we climed up and covered the windows it was then we heard Enaice's voice.

"Well, it could had been worst..." She cried as Richard grabbed her neck and lifted her up from out of nowhere.

    "Are my orders too difficult to obey. You had an order, 'do whatever you want but don't lay a finger on her' was that too difficult to understand." He said, with so much anger, but Enaice smiled sweetly, she held his hand and said,

       "Perhaps you haven't noticed, but I refuse to share my son with her, not less my throne."

He smiled sarcastically and said, "That is not your son and that's not your throne, if you read the rules more often you would understand that the first wife of a Prince is Queen so know your limits." Wow, they really are a couple.

"How adorable, you can't claim what's not yours and you know it, or you might have forgotten what happened that day to Rebecca, am here for you and am here because I want to support you, Richard she was my best friend..." She said but before she could speak up he started squeezing her neck, tighter and tighter. 

     "Don't you dare say another word Enaice." He warned.

    "What, are you afraid of the truth, if you can hurt me why can't I, you'll never have her, soon her time will be up and you'll be all alone as a pathetic lonely Prince." We could hear her bones crushing from the inside and soon, her body dropped lifeless. Mirabel had fallen asleep on Tommy's body so we tried to remove the body but she woke up and clung hard to the body.

She had refused for the body to be buried or burnt and insisted that we give her a day to say goodbye. She was asleep when we walked in, I didn't like the look on Malicay's face and presumed something was wrong, and I was right. A few minutes after we had arrived and Malicay was still staring at the body, the only thing we heard him say was,

        "She's not telling him goodbye because he's dead, she's planning to take his place." He may had looked at our face and knew we were confused so he pressed his hand deep into her skin and drew out his hand and out came a stranger, well if I was correct it was a spirit.

       "Hey, don't pull too hard." He said

       "You were trying to take her soul." He asked like it was natural.

       "Okay well had a deal, her life for his life." He said lazily.

       "She was childish."

       "Well its that or nothing. Boy am I glad to see you, its been how long, 20 years." 20? Now I wonder who this is.

       "25." He corrected.

       "Sorry, I don't keep track of time, you know how I am." He laughed, I really don't know much about my little brother but I do know that he has no friends but I don't know about Mira though but, he does has more enemies than you ever thought of.

       "And who is this." I asked,

      "Yeah, who's he, and how and why did he come out of her body." Jack said in shock, he took a deep breath.

      "Everyone, meet Death." He said.

      "Death...?" Well he's more weirder than i thought. 

"Surprised?" Death said,

"What are you here for?" Jack asked,

      "Isn't it obvious her soul, we had a deal and am hear for it." He was like a joker, a happy yet sloppy and awfully stressed out joker.

     "She gave up her life, for her son?" Jack asked.

Malicay turned to him, "Is there anything I can do to replace it, a deal?"

Now he was smiling, he rubbed his chin, "Well, a life for a life. A peculiar life. Unfortunately your's is one I would want as a special collection, since you're always stepping in whenever I want her soul and many others."

       "For the six hundredth time, am half demon and I don't have a soul."

"Well, fine, I can't grant you her soul for a third time but I hope you still remember you owe me." A third.

      "What did you just say?". Jack asked guess am not the only one who heard it,

      "Well he may not have told you but, Mirabel here died 25 years ago. It was through her death that Richard knew his wife, well he did kill her and ever since then, Malicay has been devastated. 

Her mother had a touch of magic and called upon him to protect her daughter but he failed and Richard got to her first, check her left shoulder properly, you'll find three bite marks instead if two, the mother of a Light always bears such marks and he didn't know till he killed her, poor Malicay was helpless because he was trapped in a cell and turned to me so I gave her a second chance, that is until she gives up her life for another or well die again." He had a devilish grin and was practically covering his face, I couldn't tell who was creepier, Mal or Death.

       "What about Richards bite mark." Jack asked,

        "It was erased the moment she came back, along with her memories, the memories of a vampire and me is very dangerous after all." He said,

"Listen, she won't live without her son so is there a way to bring him back, any way possible." Mal pleaded. Once again he rubbed his chin, and when he finally opened his mouth, "Well, a special someone is tempting me, okay, a day shall come and on that day a peculiar someone will be killed by you, I would have the head instead, not the soul."

      "So its a vampire, can't you have Richard then." I snapped, he looked at me and started thinking,

"Hmm, I coould but I can't, You know the rules, but... If you can, I'll go with his head, for your offer, I'll give you a tip because we're friends." Mal has friends?

"Death doesn't have friends." Mal replied,

       "Death likes you."

"Death likes souls."

      "Death likes people with souls but unfortunately I can't have yours even if I wanted too."

"Get a grip, Death." He sighed as he walked away.

     "What?"

     "I thought you're a busy man."

     "I am, but listen blockhead, remember this not all books are to be opened, open the wrong one and its game over."

      "Whatever, just leave." Mal said,

      "Fine, but please, next time don't pull me out too hard." He left but the impression on our faces remained.

      "Why wasn't I born with powers, I mean your friends with Death, how cool is that." I said breaking the silence,

     "Annoying. He keeps asking for my life." He said with irritation and began walking away,

      "Hey, don't walk out on us." Jack shouted,

"Whatever." Malicay has always been the grown up among the three of us, he's felt obligated to be responsible as the strongest of us, although he may not know it, we respect him a lot. I mean he's Miras' protector, he got exiled for a hundred years while we were out there enjoying life, he knows every bit of magic and he acts mature, he should had been Prince instead, he'll take good care of this place.

Ethan hasn't left his room and Isabelle has been crying all day.

         "Big brother?" We heard Isabella say, at the sound of this Malicay rushes outside, before us stood Tommy, he's looking confused, 

       "Easy there, you just woke up after a long nap." Malicay said as he rushes towards him. Ethan ran out of his room and hugged him but he pushed him away, 

       "Hey did you wake up from the wrong side of the bed." He said, so he forgot what happened, this may had been what happened to Mirabel, if she had remembered what happened then she would had been careful. Richard walked in and took a look at what was causing the commotion,

       "How is he alive?"

       "His wounds healed quickly." Malicay quickly said,

       "And you expect me to believe that." Of course he wouldn't believe, he saw the kid die before his eyes, he would never believe that,

       "Whether you believe or you don't, that's your business idiot." Well at least he always has a fitting reply,

"Hey."

       "Not a word in front of the kids." He covered his ears with his hand and gave Richard an angry look,

       "Tommy" Ruby said as she hugged him,

       "Hey Ruby."

       "How's this possible." Ruby said.

       Confusion dawned on him, he looked at her and said, "What are you talking about, where's mom?"

"Tommy?" Mirabel walked up to Tommy and gave him a hug, 

        "Hey don't hug me too tight."

        "Well, after that tragic event, I think it's better if we just stick with the light" Richard said, all eyes turned to him, we forgot he was there and now our mood is ruined.

        "Well am I stopping you, you can have whoever that is just don't hurt my kids."

       "Very well then, come here." Slowly Isabelle walked towards Richard without fear but Mirabel was already shaking with fear,

       "Isabelle, come hear."

       "Don't worry mom, I'll be alright." Isabelle said, but that sounds familiar,

       "Alright? Isabelle are you serious, that's what your brother said 10 years ago and look what happened. Get away from him." 

       "You told me, I can have the light." He said,

        "Well go search for it." She said,

        "I've already found it, well her."

She looked puzzled and we knew we were all together blame, she could hardly say a word. "Isabelle, is that true?" She managed to ask, but Richard began laughing,

          "Why are you asking her, ask them" he pointed at us and we looked away, we could hear her faint voice,

          "Jack?" She cried but he didn't say a word.

          "Oh, including Martha." She stood quiet and tears rushed down her cheeks,

          "Martha?, did you know." 

          "Its not their fault, I asked them not to." Malicay stepped in and faced her, she couldn't control her tears anymore,

          "Malicay...? You too, why?" She asked,

          "Mirabel." He whispered,

          "Don't say dare another word, it hurts you know, so we really aren't family, just people who live in the same house." She cried,

          "Mira am sorry..." 'WHACK', the sound of the slap filled the place and Malicay could no longer look at her, somehow I could tell we've broken her trust. Never had she raised her hand to any of us, making it the first day she had ever raised her hand to us, she must had been heart broken to raise her hand to Malicay of all people, 

       "How could you, I trusted you, all of you, I should had known."

       "Well its too late." Richard said, she looked at him and faced Malicay, 

        "No, am not letting her go, not this time, we always wanted a daughter so I can't give away like that, I promised her father that I would protect them no matter what." She was talking to Richard but looking at us,

      "Why didn't you take that kinda promise with Ethan and I, anyway, too bad, you're relieved from duty." He said,

        "Isabelle come over here." She said stretching out her hand, but Richard laughed,

        "Well, we did make a deal so..."

        "Mom." Isabelle said, stopping Mirabel,

        "But, there is another option." Richard said, 

        "Enough. Fine, Tommy, Ruby, pack your things."

        "Where are we going?" Tom asked,

        "Jack, Jake, Malicay and Martha, I want you all to leave this place, take Ruby and Tommy away from here, no matter what, do not come back here."

         "Aren't you coming?" Martha said,

         "No, unfortunately I have to handle some family problems."

         "So your staying?" I asked,

         "Jake, you better leave."

          "But."

         "Leave, now." Without another word we walked away. 

It took all night to calm Tommy down, and to top it all up there's the news of his father's death, looks like this day keeps getting worst, I only wonder who's coming over today and if my guessing is correct, that person would be... Oh no,
