I moved to undo the restraints, watching as his shoulders shook. “Louis, my love.” I said as I sat down on the bed beside him. Rubbing his wrists as I caught my breath. Letting him sort out his emotions, just being near him soothed me.

“That won’t change, will it?” Louis’s whispered question made me realize that even though he liked Amelia. That he was drawn to her. That he wanted her too. He was worried about us. About how bringing her in would affect our relationship.

“Louis, no matter what happens, you will always be mine.” I said, moving my fingertip beneath his chin so I could look into his eyes. “I’ll always be yours, and if she joins us. She’s ours and we’re hers. Things will be different, but that will never change. I’ll always be yours. I will always love you.”
