He then instructed Jun Wangfu's housekeeper to not disturb him while he instructed One to station his elite guards around the whole perimeter and stay twenty meters away where he decided to have his first date with his Ying'er forgetting the fact that he haven't properly asked if Xiuying is willing to go with him.
He arrived in Xiuying's courtyard and hit the acupuncture points for the maid to fall asleep, upon entering the bedchamber he saw his Ying'er sound asleep under the flickering lights from the candles in the four corners of the room he is immediately mesmerized by her beauty when she is awake though she show a cheerful and playful attitude, he still see through some sadness and sometimes gratefulness to her current life which puzzles him as there no record of her living in a harsh condition. Afraid of awaking his date he gently wrap her in a thick red wolf fur cloak and princess carried Xiuying outside her courtyard.
He arrived in his secret villa located in a mountain outside the city. The villa is made of stones to protect those who live in their from cold weather in the mountains. As the steward approaches him to give greetings he immediately glare at the old man that was when the steward noticed that Xianyao is carrying a woman judging by the long hair swaying, the prince noticing the gaze gently hides Xiuying's sleeping face by covering her head with the hood and have her face his chest. Xianyao can't help but gently smile as he did all these leaving the shock steward outside.
He decided not to let her sleep in the guest room prepared for her instead he walked inside his bedchamber and gently laid Xiuying and himself on his bed, he didn't want to be away from her even for a second and if possible he wanted to bring her everywhere he needs to go but he also knows that his woman hates being controlled so he can only long for her presence when she is not with him. Seeing Xiuying peacefully sleeping he himself doze off while gently embracing her.
After feeling the other person in deep sleep Xiuying opens her eyes seeing the handsome face of Xianyao. His long eyelashes can trigger envy from women, his lightly tan skin and perfectly formed nose only enhances more his image of a handsome highly praised war lord and his lips formed a gentle smile as if having the best dream he ever had. Xiuying was actually woke up in the middle of their travel but decided to pretend to see what the prince plans for her, to be abducted in the middle of the night.
She can't help but gently trace his cheeks, nose and lastly his lips with her fingers but her eyes held a complicated gaze. At first she was shock to see a face so familiar, the face of the last person she placed all her hopes in previous life only for that same person to die protecting her during her escape.
"Raine..." an almost whisper call reach her ears as they run.
"Guzheng, they are almost here..." Raine tried to be strong but fear and helplessness still creeps in her bones and tightly holds her heart.
"My father won't catch you. I promise I will hold them up, you go first I'll meet you in the motel."
"No... please..."
"Don't worry his people won't hurt me." Guzheng tightly embraced her which calms Raine a little. "I'll be there soon okay now run." He gently push the woman. Raine nodded and started to run as fast as she could she was almost near the car when she heard several gunshots.
"You are awake." Xianyao gentle voice woke her up from reminiscing. She was about to speak but was interrupted by him again. "Come up I prepared a surprise for you."
"For you to abduct me in the middle of the night your highness is indeed capable." Xiuying sarcastically commented as she glared at the man.
"Of course as your future husband it is only essential for me to be this capable." Xianyao pats her head before getting up. "Come out when you are ready, I'll wait outside."
Right after the prince left the bedchamber a maid entered and place a matching outfit for Xiuying to wear and helps her clean up.
