“You don’t have to waste your efforts anymore. No matter who you seduce, none of them have the power to let you leave.” Charles cupped her chin and forced her head up.

Sophia dropped her eyes, refusing to make eye contact with him. “What about you? Will you let me leave?”

“This is what you owe Leah.” Staring at the broken skin of her red lips, Charles’ eyes darkened. Lifting his fingertips lightly, they had nearly touched her lips before he frowned. He returned his fingers back to their original position.

Jane tugged at her lips, attempting to smile, but she could not. Her eyes felt sore.

“What?” Charles felt irritated at the look of her being sad over other men. Grabbing her by the waist, he snorted coldly as their bodies pressed together tightly. “Sad because you failed to seduce a man?”

His handsome, delicate features were so close. They were close to the point where their breaths were intertwined with each other, and they could see the thin hairs on the other’s face.
