Lilith   When Ruby was satisfied with how I looked we headed outside for some fresh air. I was dressed in a cute yellow sundress and a pair of white sandals. Ruby applied light makeup and curled my hair saying that a simple look would be better meeting my grandfather for the first time. I was extremely nervous knowing he was already here talking to the councils, Ryker and Celeste about me. We were sitting on one of the benches around the fire pit waiting to be called into the council's cabin.   Annalise was the one that came and escorted us into the meeting. Lilith   I awoke from a loud banging on the door, I tried to wake Ruby but she grumbled in her sleep and turned over. I looked at the clock and swore, because it was already seven in the morning we had slept through all the alarms. I rushed and pulled on a robe and my slippers then went to quickly answer the door. I stood shocked to see my grandfather and Annalise standing in front of me. "What happened!?" I asked worried. "Nothing this big oaf wanted to say good morning and he couldn't wait any longer," Annalise answered."Big Oaf!?" my grandfather whipped his head to glare at Annalise. "Here we go again," I remarked while trying to hold in my laughter.
