Lilith   I awoke from a loud banging on the door, I tried to wake Ruby but she grumbled in her sleep and turned over. I looked at the clock and swore, because it was already seven in the morning we had slept through all the alarms. I rushed and pulled on a robe and my slippers then went to quickly answer the door. I stood shocked to see my grandfather and Annalise standing in front of me. "What happened!?" I asked worried. "Nothing this big oaf wanted to say good morning and he couldn't wait any longer," Annalise answered."Big Oaf!?" my grandfather whipped his head to glare at Annalise. "Here we go again," I remarked while trying to hold in my laughter.   I waved for them to come inside and they followed me to sit on the couch while I made a pot of coffee. Lilith   I was standing in the same dress from the dream I had, I closed my eyes and waited for the knock. The door opened and when I turned around I saw Silas instead of Ryker. I was filled with confusion that I hadn't noticed when he approached me. His eyes raked up and down my body sending shivers and desire I didn't want. I basically have been introduced to everyone in the kingdom and I am successful in the royal training according to Beth, my royal trainer. Ryker has been avoiding me at every chance he got and it broke my heart, so with that Silas has been taking the opportunity to be beside me.  Honestly I think I have become friends with Silas in this time, I mean I still don't trust him or forgive him but he has kept me occupied while Ryker ignored me.  "Remember when we used to have play dates while our dads took care of pack business?"
