chapter 41

Bhavika stood in front of her uncle company since last few hours. She came last day but she was chased away by telling that her uncle was busy. Even, they didn't let her wait inside the waiting room. That's why she didn't go inside today and stood outside. 

She was sweating because it's hot outside and sun was shining with full heating. Even passers-by were looking her pitiful but she didn't care. 

She was 20 years old girl and student in college. Her father died because of heart attack five years go. The main was heart attack her uncle Mahesh Singh cheated her father in business and owed company into his name. After her father death, her uncle and aunty threw out her mother and her from the paternal house. However no relative helped her mother and her. Since then, mother and daughter was living on themselves. Her mother Reema did job and bhavika was completing her study. After completing her study, Bhavika had dream to do job as she can help her mother. Their financial condition was not good but they were satisfied. She knew her mother was suffering from illness after her father death. But she didn't know her mother helath condition was serious before one week. 

Before one week ago, when she came back home from her college, she saw her mother was resting into bedroom. 

Her mother should be in office as it was office time that's why she went to her mother and asked with concern, "Mom?" 

Her mother didn't respond that's why she touched her mother's shoulder and shook lightly, "mom?" 

Her mother didn't respond again. She noticed that her mother face was pale and she was sweating and shivering. 

She has nobody in this world except her mother. 

She was stunned to look her mother like that. After few minutes, she came into her senses and rushed outside to call her society doctor. 

When she described her condition to doctor, he immediately agreed to come with her and fortunately, there was no patient into his clinic that time. She and her mother were living in that society since more than four years that's why in society, everyone knew and respect the mother and daughter because of their good nature. 

After checking her mother pulse, the doctor looked at bhavika with concern. 

Bhavika knew something is wrong but she knew she can't be weak that time otherwise who would take care of her and her mother in this world. 

She gulped her saliva and asked with low voice, "doctor uncle, what happened to my mom?" 

The doctor knew he had to tell this little girl to her mother condition. After choosing his words with concern, he suggested, "I can't say it with surely without ultrasound and tests. But your mother condition is not good. She needs treatment immediately." 

She nodded her head with understanding and said, "please suggest me. I will do my best." 

Doctor wrote the tests and hospital name on his suggestion form and handed over to her, "here are tests and hospital name. Tell my name they will give you discount. I gave injection to your mother. She will wake up soon. But you have to do tests tomorrow as we can give her treatment soon." 

She thanked him, "thank you doctor and your fees?" 

The doctor smiled lightly and said, "it's ok. When your mother will get fine, I will ask myself." 

Bhavika knew he would not accept money now that's why she didn't insist. She needed to take care of her mother first. 

After leaving doctor, she wiped her mother sweats from towel. Now, her mother was sleeping soundly after taking shoot. She sighed with relief  she cooked the light food for herself and her mother. 

Her mother woke up after two hours. It was dinner time. She didn't ask anything about her mother and tell anything because she knew her mother got worried and never agreed to go hospital for check up. That's why she decided to take her mother hospital secretly.

Next day, she tricked her mother to take her out but they reached hospital. Her mother asked with panic, "what is it, Bhavika?" 

Bhavika had no other choice rather then emotional blackmail to her mother, "mom, please sake for me. I know your condition is not well. We need to your checkup for right treatment." 

Her mother refused, "no, I am fine. It's only waste of time." 

She said with determination, "ok, then I will no go college from today. I will find the job to support you. If we are short of money." 

Her mother shouted, "bhavika" 

Bhavika didn't get angry but pouted and said with spoil voice, "please mom, my good mom, listen atleast one time to your lovely daughter." 

Her mother sighed and knew bhavika didn't give up that's why she agreed. 

She warned bhavika, "if results are negative, you will better get ready to punish." 

Bhavika smiled sheepishly, "I am" 

Her mother shook her head and didn't say anything. Bhavika smiled but she was nervous from inside because of her mother results. She saw her condition mother last day from her eyes and doctor face after her mother checking. She knew something is wrong but she prayed to God 'everything is fine.'

The tests took whole day that's why they reached at home at evening. They were silent because the examiner didn't say anything but he gave to hint them after noticing that mother and daughter are alone and in   poor condition. He was pity but he knew he couldn't do anything. It's his job to look many people's with suffering from different illness. Somes are poor but somes are rich. He has used it.

The following day, the tests results were not their favour. Bhavika knew she took right decision. But her mother was in her thoughts. Bhavika shook her mother lightly and whispered, "mom?". her mother looked her and gave her light smile, "bhavika I am fine. I don't need any treatment." 

Bhavika almost cried, "mom, did you already know about it? 

Her mother didn't say anything. Bhavika's tears fell down from her eyes, "mom why didn't you tell me?" 

Her mother said in hoarse voice, "I didn't know it's serious. I am sorry, Bhavika. I can't be your side in future." 

Bhavika almost lost after hearing it, "mom, please don't say it. We will do your treatment. Please I need you." 

Her mother told her, "we can't afford fees." 

Bhavika said with determination, "if we have hope, we will find way. Don't worry mom. I will try my best." 

Even she knew she couldn't arrange money but she was not ready to give up. 

Before two day, her mother condition got worse that's why she had to admitted her mother into hospital. Doctor suggested to kidney surgery soon and deposit to fees

Bhavika asked, "doctor, how much money I have to deposit?" 

The doctor said, "the surgery costs is expensive but I know your financial condition and doctor Valia recommended that's why the cost will be atleast five lakh." 

She gulped because her mother had only less than one lakh into her account. 

But she said with surely, "I will arrange the money as soon as possible. Please preparation for surgery." 

The doctor nodded, "I am sorry, Bhavika. My hands are bound otherwise I will help you." 

Bhavika smiled, "it's ok doctor. You are already nice. My uncle is rich. He will definitely help me if I ask him." 

The doctor nodded and didn't say anything. 

Bhavika left his cabin and came to her mother ward. It's evening time. Her mother was sleeping. She thought, 'its not good to go this time to uncle house. Aunt and cousin will never agree to help us. It's better to go to uncle company and borrow for money. It's not big amount for him. If he hear about mom condition, he will definitely help." 

She already applied her mother office for borrow money. Her mother's boss agreed to give  fifty thousand as advance after hearing her mother condition. Bhavika knew he will not give more that's why it's not good to ask him. 

She thought whole night about how to ask for money from her uncle. But she never thought her uncle rejected to meet her and listen her. 

That's why she had no other choice to stand outside and wait for her uncle. She couldn't let her mother die because of her. She did her best untill in last breath. She missed opportunity to meet her uncle in morning when he arrived into company. Because she had to take care of her mother. She made her eat and medicine. 

But she can't miss his departure from the company today that's why she stood without drinking and eating since morning. She didn't even drink a drop because she thought what if she went to drink and her uncle exited. No, it can't be happen. Today at any cost, she had to talk her uncle. 

It's company off time and everyone was exiting from company. She didn't see her uncle. She thought, 'why didn't he come till yet? Is he already gone? No, but I didn't see him. What should I do? Should I go inside and ask about him? No, they will never tell me.' she was going to panic. She will not give up if she had to go uncle house, she will go. 

She was thinking about what should she do or not. She saw her uncle's car.  She knew the licence plate of car. It was exiting from company parking lot. She didn't care about herself and stood in front of car for stopping it. 

The driver was skillful that's why he stopped the car immediately otherwise it would be her last day. Inside the car, everyone was stunned. They didn't think any girl come in front of car so suddenly. The driver looked at his boss with worried expression. Because the driver was working from many years and he knew what is the relationship between his boss and that girl. 

Bhavika didn't waste any time, rushed towards car and knocked the car window, "uncle, please listen to me one time. We need really your help this time and I won't take long time. Please give me your 5 minutes to explain." 

Inside the car, there was one more person except driver and her uncle. It was her cousin Sanya. Sanya was five years old from Bhavika. And she hated Bhavika from bottom of her heart. When she looked bhavika outside from the car. She frowned and asked her father, "dad, what is she going here?"
