“Stop!” A loud voice called out.
The soft tune of music stop and so did the noise. Everyone turned to the source of sound and gasp escaped out of majority of people mouth.
“Oh God! What’s happening here?!” Sophia heard a familiar voice and turned only to be left Shell shocked.
There stood Mary, Ella and Dr. Smith with almost 12 police officers who were heavily guarded.
“Aunt Marry....” A whisper left her mouth in shock.
“Stop everything! This is Police Officer Allan Throne and we are here because we have been reported of the case of Dr Sophia being not found and surprisingly have found out that she is here marrying her boss’s son.” Allan Throne said smirking as he raise his officer card to show to the people.
“Officer what’s this fiasco about?! We are having happy moments and whats the bother that you have to crash the wedding like this and that too of my son! Of Nathan Williams.” Sam Williams asked arrogantly with visible anger lacing in each word.
He hate this man! It’s not his first encounter with Allan Throne.This Police Officer is reported to be spying on all of his activities and Sam Williams made sure to have this officer spied.
“With all due respect sir! We have a report against Nathan Williams of kidnapping Miss Sophia James and marring her secretly. We would like to ask the bride some questions for the confirmation.” Allan said as equally arrogantly as he could.
Sam Williams gritted his teeth and mentally cursed the bastard.
“What is it Officer?! Why did you happen to crash my wedding like some pathetic villain of flop movie?” Nathan asked coldly but all Sophia could do is stare at the turn of events helplessly.
“We are our job, Mr Nathan and if that make us villain than be it! Mr. Smith, Mrs Mary, and miss Ella have reported that there friend has been missing for 4 days. We would like to ask some needed questions from miss Sophia.” Allan Throne stated stepping closer to the groom and bride.
“What’s this?! Is this marriage happening by force?” The priest asked for the first time but his question was ignored by all.
“So Miss Sophia, where were you from the past four days? There is no need to be afraid we will help you out.” Allan said assuringly and Nathan clenched his fist tightly.
Sophia gulped as she looked at Nathan who was absolutely fuming and then back at officer.
Her mind flashed back to the scene at forest where Nathan had her.
He will kill her if she betrayed him....
Gulping hard, she looked at officer.
“I-I was with Nathan.” She said slowly. Nathan looked at her with narrowed eyes and so did Sam.
“Why? Were you with him willingly?” Allan shot his next question.
Sophia felt her palm sweating with anxiety.
“N-no, we are getting married.”
She was afraid of Mary, Ella snd Smiths reaction and now was waiting for them to blast their questions at her if which she has no answers!
“Are you marring him willingly? Has he forced you?” Allan Throne asked again with clenched jaw not at all happy with the responses of the beautiful bride that stood in front of him.
Sophia looked at Nathan for a second and then back at officer. “N-no. I am marrying him because I love him.”
“Then why so hurry? Why didn’t you attend your friends call and why sudden marriage and why did you not inform any of your friends? Are you sure that you want to marry mr Nathan Williams?” Allan Throne was now fuming with anger.
Cursing the bride mentally he asked the question after question menacingly.
He was feeling immense anger now at the foolish girl that was spoiling her plan.
“I-I uh...I and Nathan were on holiday and I lost my phone. He proposed me suddenly two days back and I was so busy that calling anybody just slipped my mind and above all, I have lost my phone and didn’t remember anyone’s contact information.” Sophia started off slowly and ended fluently. Nathan smirked in happiness as pride filled in his heart.
He placed his hand on her waist taking her by surprise and asked arrogantly to the officer.
“If you are done with your useless interrogation officer, I would like to restart from where we were earlier before you rudely came to crash our wedding. Now please get out of my house.” His voice was rude and it pricked Allan badly!
Fuming Allan looked at him with menacing glare as he made his way out of the place with other officers following behind, embarrassed.
Smith, Ella, and mary stood there uncomfortable and started to walk when Nathan said loudly, “please stay! My wife only have you people as her family.”
The trio looked at each otherand then back at Sophia. Hesitation was visible as they nodded their head and then smiling at the bride who smiled back widely sat on their respective allotted places.
“We apologise for the inconvenience ladies and gentleman. Now that the drama is over, let’s begin the wedding ceremony.” Sam Williams said in authoritatively tone that cause halt in everyone’s back bitting.
Sophia looked at the priest worriedly who started to recite the vows.
“Do you Nathan Williams take Sophia James as your lawfully wedded wife?”
“I do,” He said without a hitch. No expression what so ever on his face.
Sophia gulped hard as the priest turned his attention at her.
“Do you Sophia James take Nathan Williams as your lawfully wedded husband?”
Sophia stilled. She could not think of the answer. Her mind was a complete havoc at this moment. It felt as if suddenly everything has froze.
“Do you Sophia James tale Nathan Williams as your lawfully wedded husband?” Priest repeated and still received no answer from the bride who stood thier still at her spot.
Murmur started to fill in the place. Nathan jaw clenched in fury and she pinched hard on her waist making her yelp slightly. She looked at him and observed how angry he was.
Gulping hard she said slowly, “I-I d-do.”
Relief washed off on everyone’s face at her answer but the fury in Nathan eyes was still very much visible.
“I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.” The priest announced and Sophia breath hitched.
Nathan smirked mercilessly as he pulled Sophia closer by waist and then smashed his lips on her harshly. The kiss said it all. His anger, his hurt ego, his frustration. There was nothing sweet about this kiss.
He bit her lip harshly causing her to yelp a little after the harsh ministration he pulled back as tears rolled down her eyes. Again smashing his lips on hers he kissed her softly this time with love and sweetly.
Sophia pushed him lightly on his chest but he tightened his hold and after few minutes left her lips. Sophia took a deep breath and applaud broke around the room.
“Welcome to my world, wife. Only mine.” His voice was so husky and smooth.
Sophia blushed as all her husband gangsters whistled.
Nathan loosened his grip on her waist and faced people smiling victoriously as if telling every men in the room that this gorgeous woman beside him is oy his....
Sophia smiled brightly as her mother in law came and engulfed her in hug. Her father in law nodded at her and she smiled at him hesitant.
“S-Sophia...” Mary called her out hesitant seeing how the girl she brought up is now her boss’s daughter in law.
“Mom...” Sophia called out and with quick step rushed to Mary and engulfed her in a tight embrace.
Sophia cried on her shoulder and Mary patted her back soothingly.
“Sshhh Sophia.... I am so disappointed dear. You married without informing me. How can you do this to your own mother?” Mary asked sadly and disappointed.
“Mary mom you know... I can’t....it’s just that....” she started off but suddenly stopped as a arm wrapped around her waist.
Sophia didn’t needed to turn to know who it was. Her body shuddered realising how stupidly she was going to say all the that happened with her in front of her foster mother and risking both of them’s life because her husband is no ordinary man.
“Hello, I am Nathan Williams. I am truly sorry that I didn’t get the time to come and ask you personally for Sophia hand in marriage. It’s just a day back I proposed and next day we are getting married. Everything happened in rush. We couldn’t bear to stay a single second away after confessing our undying love for each other. I hope you understand....I sincerely apologise ma’am.” Nathan said like a true gentleman and Sophia gaped seeing how easily he was lying to her foster mother.
He is cunning and manipulative and Sophia is simple and innocent but not naive to not understand his actions....
“Uh...I don’t know what to say...yes I am very sad that Sophia didn’t told me of any of this because she always share her feelings with me but I am also happy that she finally has found the man she loves and now is married.” Mary said slowly with all her emotions openly on display.
All three of them were shocked, amazed and perplexed to see Sophia dressed up as a bride and standing next to NewYork most richest bachelor who is now her husband.
“Sophie...” Ella called out with sheer disappointment seeing how her friend has not told her anything and has broken the promise of making her her’s bridesmaids.
“Ella please don’t be angry on me please babez I am truly sorry....” Sophia said with sheer guilt realising how she had broken their hearts.
“It’s okay, I am happy that you have found yourself a handsome husband and even though you didn’t invited me me I am here none the less!” She exclaimed and Sophia pouted and hugged her which she returned with full frivolity.
“You look so beautiful! I am very happy for you!” Ella exclaimed and Sophia smiled brightly.
“Thank you love and you too get married with smith soon.” Sophia teased making Ella gasp aloud.
“Ssh shut up! That grumpy man doesn’t know about it at all! Even today he shouted at me! I don’t know why he us so grumpy at me always. He is so good with other!” Ella said looking at smith who was now stuffing some chicken pieces in mouth that were placed in front of him on the table.
“He is stupid. He will know your worth soon and I know he likes you common now relax. Am I forgiven now?”
Sophia asked with puppy eyes.
“You sly bitch! How did you even get that hot beast to be yours and yes you are forgiven.” Ella asked teasingly .
Sophia looked at Nathan who was talking to Ben and glanced at her with strange glint in his eyes making her shiver.
“That’s a long story. Will tell you later.” Sophia said looked her mother in law who was approaching her.
“Sophia dear, I have booked a cake for your wedding. I know it was your right to select it but you were so busy that I had too. You don’t mind right?” Her mother in law inquired her.
“No mom thank you. I know you wil choose the best always .” Sophia replied smiling softly.
“Aww I am happy that my son made you his wife! He really need a sweet lady like you to add essences in his life.” She patted her cheek softly smiling brightly.
She was really very for her son and prayed that he don’t do anything stupid with this girl to mess up there relationship.
“Now is the time for cake cutting. I will go ask the servant to bring in the cake. Now go and stand by Nathan.” Sophia nodded her head as her mother in law made her way to the inside of the house.
Sophia nodded at Ella as she slowly walked to her husband.....
The man who forced her to marry him for saving her life....
The man who is every girl’s dream....
She still doesn’t understand why did he even put forth the option of marriage.
He for sure doesn’t love her her then why?
