LOGINClara could look at him and pointed at the building. "There."
Brian looked at the building, then at her and smiled. "I knew you were smart. Do you have the keypad?"
He drove to the garage and looked at her. He could see her confused expression and rolled his eyes, don't tell me you get off the car every time you come home? "
She went to mainframe and planted her hands to scan while he just rolled his eyes and waited for her to get in. "I guess you didn't know. I'll show it to you about in a bit."
He drove the truck inside and suddenly they all drove the trucks inside. Clara told them to bring them in even before as they might need them after winter.
Alex came and saw them together and suddenly got an idea. "Clara. Let him and Robert stay here. I'll send enough food for both of them. I'll feel safer if there is someone to help you out with heavy work."
Clara saw his clear worry in his face and nodded. She really needed strong hands. The work now is getting more.
"Can you bring two more beds?" She didn't want anyone to sleep on tables as they did in beginning.
"Don't worry, we will bring it right away." Alex saw his people rushing back home and went out as well.
Liam came close and saw a smile on his lips. " Brian, eh? He already knew Alex and knew what this person was thinking about.
Alex nodded. "He has those eyes that show how much he likes her. And he is strong. Yes. Good pairing."
Liam rolled his eyes. Alex could see anyone else feelings but not his own surroundings. "Let's hurry up. The snow is getting worse by the minute."
The beds were brought cover and as the main gate closed, the few people realized in fear that two biggest men in that group stayed with Clara and kids. "This is getting complicated..."
On the other hand, Brian was brought to the first floor where two beds waited to be set together in one big side room. He shook his head. "They really made offices here? Are they crazy?"
Clara just nodded. "Two years ago the owner changed and they just added offices here."
The whole floor was cosily warm now. He opened a door and saw two small kids playing with kittens while the big cats lazily were sleeping next to the oven.
He smiled at kids and closed the door. He was quite amazed. He could see many things outside, and some of the top floors, bit didn't know that they chose to make it this cosy.
He patted her head as she came near. "You did an amazing job, considering the situation. Come, I'll show you something you should know."
He walked out and Clara followed him quietly. "This building belonged to the army. I have no idea what idiot sold this to a private person. Office building? Crazy idiots."
She could see his expression change as he cursed. There was clear anger written on his face and she felt a bit sorry. "Brian, at that time you stood on my side. Sorry for pulling you in that mess."
He snorted. "Don't worry. They tried to get me down, but I was supported by congress, so all they could do is to send me to a small base hundred miles from this city."
Clara stopped walking. "Any survivors?"
Brian could see hope in her eyes rising and nodded. " About twenty per cent of my people were dead, rest is still alive and kicking. We started going around to save as many people as possible. I came here for two things."
Clara continued walking while listening to him. "May I ask what two things?"
He nodded. "You can ask but I'll tell you about it later. First, let me show you the biggest reason why I planned living in this place."
He went through the two red doors just like she did before, looked at panels and smiled. "You turned the generator on. Good. Now to the main thing."
She blinked at him in confusion. ''There is more?"
He just chuckled, pressed his hand at the panel next to the start and it got scanned. Her eyes became big as she saw that. A wall suddenly moved and the huge room appeared in front of them.
Inside were computers that he started turning on. She could see a few more doors and almost cursed. One was huge storage filled with food. Two rooms looked like dormitories for dozens of people, with showers and dining room. One more room was something like an office and as he turned on all the PC's, she could see all the cameras throughout the house and those outside as well.
The snow was getting worse by the minute. Clara stood by his side and saw him looking closely at the cameras and then pointed at one. "I found it..."
Clara looked at the frozen bowl that stood there shakingly. "What is that?"
"One cell. Humans that died turned into strange creatures that are quite dangerous for all living beings. Not only humans. Only those that are eating dead humans are only ones that can eat these new... creatures." He furrowed his eyebrows.
Clara just silently listened. "Now its time. Tell me why you are here?"
With a sigh, Brian sat down and just realized that Robert left them alone after checking rooms. He pointed at the closed door and then at himself.
She just took a chair and sat right across of him. He looked at her calm expression and sighed. Burning red hair, grey eyes, with a shape that made him believe she had some Asian origin, small nose and full lips. She looked like the perfect mix of east and west.
Even tho her parents were mixed marriage, he was sure she was not their child. The way they treated her... Actually, her whole body was quite attractive, but he didn't really care about such things.
What he was attracted most was her wisdom. She knew that something was wrong with that experiment and now is time to ask how...

Once she came out of her room, she handed the room keys to the receptionist and dragged her luggage to the bus. She boarded the bus and kept her luggage in the compartment of the single seat reserved for her. Ensured that it was safe and stepped out. She had some light morning breakfast of two slices of bread, some fruits, and a glass of herbal tea. She bought some bananas and guavas and kept them in her backpack. Just in case she needed to munch, she would have the fruits. One by one all of them boarded the bus. Tanisi boarded it the last and sat at her place. Varidhi had instructed to keep all valuables with them since they would leave the luggage in the bus. They set out to the hills. The morning was still dark, and the weather quite chilly. Tanisi had expected this and was wearing a jacket on her T-shirt. This ensured she was comfortably warm. After an hour's journey they reached the foothill.
Caroline stuck to the shadows as she looked grimly at her scrying map. The red marker shone brighter the closer she got to her mark and for a moment she was tempted to send for the elder council. But the abundance of bad leads made the high priestess pause, and reconsider her position, loathing to rouse them from their beds on a chance that this time her locator had worked. Stepping nimbly through the brambles with a grace that belies her age, Caroline gave a sigh of relief as she exited the forest and gazed upon violet field. The gates to the pack pyres were open on the far end and she squinted her eyes in confusion, "They should be shut," She murmured and muttered " el gatus closeth" a simple spell to close doors, but nothing happened.
I rubbed my stomach. I try not to stress because it will affect my fetus. Yes, I should be grateful for the pregnancy I have been waiting for, but it complicates the situation. It would be a lie if I said I was fine. The problem is, I don’t know the father of my baby. Harvey? Or Sean?“Angel.”I found a woman who 3 days ago I was worried about childbirth. Yes, he is Renata. The nurse handed Renata to me, who was sitting in the garden area of the hospital.“Hey, Renata,” I said, glad that I finally had someone I could talk to. “How are you and your baby?”“We’re good, thanks to you,” Renata answered. “Thank you for praying for us and being
