chapter 12

BLAKE’S POV

‘where are the children’ I asked the hairy brown one, piercing a knife into his shoulder. He shivered for some time but refused to spit out. I knew that this treatment was nothing compared to how they would have treated the children.

The grey wolf next to him was quivering each moment I questioned the brown one. I knew that to get an answer, I have to result in bloodshed.

Max was growing unstable each moment they refused to speak up. I ripped off the brown wolf's head so that the grey wolf would speak up, but he still insisted on keeping the secret. I threatened to rip off his only leg if that what it took to make these shitheads speak.

‘ …….WAIT ……STOP …….I’ll tell you whatever I know’ he said. I took back my fangs which were about to tear his leg apart.

‘ SPEAK’

He coughed and spoke in a crocked tone ‘ I don’t know where the children are but I do know someone who could help you. If only yo...youuu.. let me live I will tell you.’

‘ you DARE demand a negotiation from me after what you did!!! Do I look like I give a SHIT about your LIFE? Speak the TRUTH or I will have your HEAD before I leave this cell’. I said controlling Max who wanted to come out.

‘ I SWEAR I don’t know where they took the kids. Me and my brother were told to look after them for 10 days, providing them with food and clothes. My brother got a call yesterday that the kids were to be transferred today, 3 days before the deadline. When he questioned back the phone got cut.’

‘When those people came in we always wear a blindfold to not reveal their trade route, but this time we were chained. I knew something was wrong when I took out my blindfold to ask my brother, he wasn’t there!!!!!!!!!!!!  I was tied to another disabled guy I dint even know!!!!! I was shocked.’

‘I then heard the alarm go when your pack members entered. I knew my brother sold me out. We tried escaping but it was in vain, you know the rest.’ He said deeply signing.

‘If only I’d knew what shit I had gotten into I wouldn’t have done this’.

After listening to the story, I confirmed one thing, that all this was being planned by an evil shitass guy who was a psychopath.

‘you are of no use to us, but I will let you out only after I have confirmed whatever you spoke was true’ I said. I was about to leave when the guy screamed ‘REDRICKKKK’

‘what?’

‘ Redrick, I heard the people talking about that name on the radio. I don’t know whether he is the one you are looking for, but I hope you find him’. he said.

I turned back leaving the cell. There were so many things popping in my mind, I wanted my mate to calm me down. I wanted to see Allen. And the next moment, I was heading in the direction of her smell.

I wanted my mate, I had to see her to calm me and Max down. I knew that she was teaching in the kindergarten. I ran to the place with blood smeared all over me.

I could see her from the window teaching the kids. One look was all it took to calm myself down. Her smell was enough to slow down my heartbeat. Her beautifully sculpted body just for me to embrace. Max was happy to see her smiling and enjoying.

With my hearing capability, I could hear that she was telling a story about a little red riding hood.

When Callen asked her ‘ do you think the little red riding hood will love the wolfy knowing that he would eat her’. I was eager to listen to her reply but Max was hiding on the back of my head fearing that the answer she gave would disappoint him.

When she said ‘ yes, she would because she trusted him with all her life, she knew that he wouldn’t do anything to scare her away, and he would wait for her patiently till she loved him wholeheartedly’.

You can’t imagine the happiness we both felt. Max suddenly lit up like a firecracker saying that anyone would say ‘YES’ to a handsome stylish cool wolf.

I could hear him gloating about his looks and power for a minute until Callen asked ‘ teacher do you have someone you love’. BOTH our hearts were still for a moment. I never expected that little boy to ask such a question, but even if she had someone she liked, we both would tear him into pieces and feed him to dogs.

‘let me think……..what do you guess’ she said making a cute face at Callen, how I wanted to hold and kiss her was something only I could imagine.

‘ you are beautiful so I guess you would be having 1 or 2 boyfriends’ said Callen pouting…..

get over it already I badly wanted to know the answer. If our mate loved someone deeply we would be too scared to hurt her let alone make her cry. I was dejected just thinking about that life.

‘come on Callen, I believe in one person for life concept, so I’m waiting for my destined one’ she said and I knew I could fall all over gain each second just for her. she was mine and I loved her.

After covering all the children with blankets, she fell asleep. Lying down next to the children, she looked like a mother who had just made her 10 mischievous kids go to bed. I lied down looking at her peaceful face, her smooth wavy golden hair brushing her face made me want to touch it.

As I carefully brushed  my fingers through her hair, I could feel her blissful sleep. She had small cute fingers, ones that would perfectly fit mine. Just thinking about our future make me forget all the tiresome moments I had to face today.

Cursing him for ruining the moment. I covered a blanket over my cute tiny mate and left.
