"Yes, I'm fine." I stood up and went to Kate.
Its almost 5:00 p.m, let's go home.
"Oh!" She lurched. "This movie is more interesting than the novel. Let's wait a minute more, please."
"I can't wait a second more, you'll meet me at home when you're through." I said, waving Angel goodbye.
"Why are you in a hurry when we can actually sleep here." She jolts to her feet.
"You can sleep here, I'm not."
"Okay fine, let's go home." Kate finally agreed as we have everyone goodbye. Angel acceded to accompany us but I told him not to worry, we would be alright.
Just about leaving, Lucas came in. I got a feeling like he was stirring up my soul. His eyes were fixed on mine again but I quickly looked away. In the rush and anger, our hands mistakenly touched. I didn't bother looking at him, I just left. Kate ran after me, saying she needs an explanation.
"What's wrong between you two, are you alright? Tell me, what happened?"
"Nothing, Kate! Nothing!"
"Are you planning to keep it a secret again?" She asked as I stopped walking.
"It isn't safe to talking the streets. Walls have ears, remember? I'll tell you when we get home." I replied back. The rest of the walk was a silent one.
