❄❄Chapter thirty four❄❄

'You ready.' Another message from pretty boy pops up. 

'Yep.' I text back. 

I put my phone in my black purse before walking down the stairs. 

"Dad am out." I yell

"When do I get to meet your boss." Dad yells back from the kitchen. 

"I don't know, he's a very busy man." I lie. I had convinced dad that Xavier isn't a bad guy, but I can't imagine what would happen if they both meet. 

"Okay, call if you won't be coming home." 

"Aye, aye captain." I sing-song. 

I walk out of the house with my black pencil heel and a knee length off shoulder black dress. 

Another Saturday and another party. 

But this isn't just a party, its a dinner party. 

I hop into the parked limo, Xavier cologne hung on the air. 

" meet our driver for tonight, Mr William." Xavier says. The glass separating the back from the driver side opens to reveal a man with an Italian moustache. 

"Hello am pari." I say. 

"Nice to meet you pari, and you look beautiful" Mr William says his voice thick with Italian accent. 

"Thank you." I smile sweetly, he returns the smile before rolling up the glass. 

After some minutes of driving the limo stops in front if a dimly light mansion. 

We both walk into the mansion with linked arms. 

Unlike the last party, they was no photographers,only security.

The hall was beautifully decorated. It has two themes, a royal gold and yellow. 

Xavier introduces me to a young couple who he said were his business partners. The lady looked very young to be married, but with the look on her eyes I could guess she didn't mind. Such a lovely relationship. 

"Xavier." A broad male voice say. 

We turn to meet a old man in suit, his eyes racks through me making me fell disgusted. 

"Mr Archer." Xavier says with a forced smile. 

"Long time, I didn't believe  you would come." Mr Archer smile slyly. 

"Well I did" Xavier replies. 

"And who is this." Mr Archer asks referring to me. His eyes was still in me. 

"Miss Stephen, my P.A." Xavier says noticing my uncomfortable Look. 

"You look beautiful." Mr Archer says before holding his hand out for me. 

"Thank you Mr Archer. " I accepted his hand. 

"No, no, call me call me Archer." He kiss me hand, it felt like a slimy worm crawling all over me. "Why don't I show you around."

Oh my chocolate, I can't spend a single  second alone with this old asshole. 

"There will be no need for that Mr Archer." Xavier quickly cuts in.

"It was nice seeing you again." Xavier says, even when his face says the opposite. 

"You too." Mr Archer smiles. "See you again Mr Stephen."

I hope not. 

I release a breath I didn't know I was holding when we walk away from Mr Archer. 

Xavier was looking at me with an amused look on his face. 

"What."I ask. 

"You can leave my hand now." He smirks. 

I quickly release his hand, I didn't noticed I was clutching to it until now. 

"Sorry." I apologize my cheeks tinted with red. 

Stupid pari, how couldn't you have realised sooner. 

"Think you could get rid of us that easily" 

I could easily guess that voice from anywhere. Zack. 

Xavier mutters some curses under his breath. 

"You didn't  even say good bye." Jack added. 

"Am sorry guys." I apologies, they we're both dressed in tuxedos, looking as handsome as ever. 

Jack had his arm liked to Rayne's, she was wearing a blue lacy gown and a pencil strap heels, she looked more beautiful and lively than before. 

"Hey Rayne." I smile fully, then pull her for a hug. 

She turned stiff but later relaxes. 

"Hey Pari." Her voice was low. 

"Oh guys, this is."

"Xavier." Zack chirps in, he has a big grin on his face, unlike Jack's bored one. 

They know each other. 

"When last did you visit, I don't think I can remember." Zack says. 

"Am really busy." Xavier states. 

"You always say that." Jack scowls. 

"So you guys know each other." I couldn't help but ask. 

"We are cousins." Zack throws an arm around Xavier's shoulder. 

Xavier removes Zack arm from his shoulder before replying. 

"Yes, we are cousins." 

Wow. 

"That's really..... "

"Zack, Jack." I hear a female voice. 

There was a girl approaching us with Bennett by her side, she looks kind of familiar, the same eyes, body shape, hair, is that Freya? 

What relationship those she have with Xavier, Bennett, Jack and Zack. 

"Pari go get a drink with rayne." Jack orders, the normal playfulness in his voice gone. 

I wanted to refuse, but one look from Xavier got my legs working on their own. 

I wake to the snack table dragging Rayne with me. 

I take a glass of wine from a waiter, the down it in one gulp. 

What relationship does Freya have with Xavier.
