The sun rose as morning pulled its way through the darkness. Echi got up as soon as the first ray of light hit his eyes. He turned to check if Olanna was still on the bamboo bed. He grinned. Antonio Russo looks at the waitress called Amy and smiles. She hesitates as she walks towards him. He doesn't know why he's here again. *Rob*I ease my way through the crowded hall towards my next class with my best friend, Dan, in tow. I smile politely and nod to the few people who bother to look up from their phones as they rush by. Mostly these are girls, college co-eds attending the same community college and drawn to my boyish good looks, dimpled smile and perpetually tousled wild spikes of black hair. I know because I hear about it all the time from Dan.“How do you do that, Rob?”Here we go again.“Do what?” I turn my head slightly to focus an ear Dan’s direction, waiting for his response.“The girls, man.  Joanna's POV  School went on with much drama as it always does and before I knew it we were in our senior year or should I say final year of secondary school (high school) and that's if we pass our final exams, If not we have to stay back another year and retake the exams. In my country the final year students don't write the usual school exams, instead we write the West African Examination Council general exams or as we like to call it 'WAEC'.  Final year students like us don't learn because this whole year is occupied with notes and practicals together with enough free time to read for the exams.Special well behaved students are given authorities at this level to control other students or as we like to call it 'Rule the School'. Most idiots struggle to get this position by all means but a girl like me who hates attention doesn't give a shot about that.
