‘I want chocolate’ Callen said. I looked at both of them‘vanilla and blueberry’ Kavin said accepting defeat.
‘I’ll have the same as you’ Blake said looking into my eyes.I could get lost in those beautiful two moons the whole day but my brother interrupted.
‘What if she buys poop….will you eat that too?’ My brotherasked sarcastically. ‘If that’s what she wants me to eat, then I would’ he saidwithout hesitation.
I could sense that my brother was looking at him like an idiot who has fallen in love, but that dint matter to me.
‘umm…….Anything else’ I asked looking away from those beautiful gems. ‘NO’ they all said in unison.‘Should I come with you’ Blake asked like a puppy eagerly waiting for its master to take it out on a walk.
‘NO you sit here and play with us, my sister is not a child’Kavin said pulling Blake's hand to play HOT hands. (Its a game where you keep on hitting the other person's end till they scream.....this the version I play.....so i guess there might be different methods).
‘I’ll be fine’ I said smiling at his dejected look.I went toorder near the counter.
'I Vanilla and Blueberry, 1 chocolate and 2 Blackcurrant scoop' I said looking at the guy before me who was giving a creepy smile. 'How much?' I asked wanting to run away from this place.
'What's your name, Your hair is so smooth, how about we hookup, I assure you will never forget the night' he said trying to touch my hand.
I didn't want to make a whole scene out of this so I shut myeye wanting to disappear BUT I was tugged back into a warm embrace, not wanting to moveaway from it I snuggled towards its heat.
'Its ok kitten you are safe now' he said whispering to my ear. I slowly opened my eyes and found Blake's arm locking me up and the other one firmly holding the boy's hand mid hair. I could see him struggling trying topull his hand out but Blake who never bulged.
'You can let him go, I'm fine' I said holding onto the arm that wrapped me.'Guys like these never deserve to be forgotten, they need to be punished' he said with a voice that I almost flinched.
Seeing me shiver in his embrace he signed and loosened his grip to which the boy pulled back falling hard on the floor.
‘ Don’t you dare touch her or come near her again’ he warned.
Although I dint want to break apart, it was time to let go as I could feel my brother drilling a hole into my face.
I tried removing his hand but it wrapped around me tighter and tighter each moment I tried loosening it.
My brother came up and pulled us apart to which Blake growled. Did I say growl.....yes I did, was it coming from him?....Me and Kavin both were stunned. until..
'I'm sorry. Did I do that too loud?' Callen asked and we were all relieved that it wasn't Blake. who would believe in a supernatural being? I thought.Blake called for the lady waiter who was serving ice-creams to take the order.
After receiving the ice-creams we came back to the table. I knew that Blake was still trying to calm down, I know what he did was right but that voice was something I never wanted him to use it against me.
Callen started making fun of my brother and my brother being the brother he is, started making funny faces.
After a while, we went out to a park. My brother and Callen were best buddies now. They were playing hide and seek, while I and Blake sat on a wooden bench. It was fun watching them.
When I realized that we were only inches apart, the tension grew.
‘I’m sorry that I frightened you’ he said looking down.‘It's fine, I would have done the same thing if I were in your position’ I said smiling at him‘but....but aren’t you scared’ he asked innocently.
‘ NO, why would I be….see’ I said touching his fingers ‘ I’m not shaking ’ I smiled. I tried to take out my hands but he held on to it firmly like I was his air.‘ let me just hold your hand for a while’ he said and I sat there silently enjoying the warmth that flowed through his hands.
After a while,
‘ come I have something to show you’ he said pulling me.'But my brother is going to get tensed, we can't go' I said pulling back.
'He's busy playing with Callen, he won't notice, even if he does I will take responsibility' He said looking at me with those same puppy eyes. 'Ok,' I said defeated to which he smiled back.
He took me to an avenue filled with maple trees on both sides. The place was blooming with energy and light. The yellowish-orange leaves twirled to the rhythm of the wind. The whole place was a scenic image. It was beautiful beyond words.
'I never knew such a place existed' I said smiling at him. He smiled back with so much of love and affection, that if he proposed to me right now, I would fall into his arms. I know that is a far fetched dream.....but it doesn't hurt dreaming....
'Come here' he said holding my hand gently guiding me towards a tree which had a carving on it. I couldn't understand the words, so I looked at him puzzled.
He chuckled before touching the bark of the tree, it opened a tiny door.
He picked up the chain from the box and held it towards me ' This is for you' he said making me go numb. What was this guy doing to me? My heart stop pumping .....so fasttttt.....I tried ..controlling my self and said ‘I'm sorry Blake but isn’t this too expensive, I can’t take this’.
I tried leaving but he held my wrist back pulling me towards his warm chest. Although I know that I wanted us to be together, my mind was exploding with all these things happening.
‘ Please don't reject me or this necklace. I bought it for you’ he said bringing me closer to his lips. Our breathing collided and I was feeling the tensed and hot atmosphere surrounding us. I knew we had just met each other and it hasn’t been a month, but this guy makes me want to hug and kiss him like there’s no tomorrow. His hands were getting closer to my neck and I knew this was the moment when you kiss.
Instead, I felt his face slightly brushing through mine and I heard a clicking sound. ‘ you look beautiful’ he said looking at the necklace. I was slightly disappointed that he didn't kiss me.
‘yes,’ I said pouting. When I looked up at him, he gave me a mischievous smile. I was surprised and angry that he was teasing me. I started playfully hitting his chest but he grabbed my hand firmly. When I retorted he pushed me against the tree and closed my mouth with his and that’s when the fireworks started.
