"Dad!" I yell running after him with one pair of my slipper, wavy blonde hair tied in ponytail and my bathrobe on.
"Get out of my way." I shove aside the maidservant that I bump into while descending the giant stairs, she was carrying breakfast up to my room.
She yelps as the tray falls off and lands on the stairs, leaving crashing sounds behind as the glasses breaks spilling my coffee, cream and toast.
She slides on the steps and reaches over to hold unto me for support, but I snare at her and shove her more, that she recoils steps backwards from the stairs, and lands her ass on the floor with a loud thud, and groans in pain at the impact.
I care less, Dad's on his way to the airport.
He's this early because he doesn't want to miss his flight to Houston Texas where his Seven Star Luxury hotel had a fire out break."Dad!" I call searching for him, I catch the body guards outside throwing swift weird glances at my direction. And when I look over at them, ready to snap at them, they stare straight ahead of them.
Assholes. I mutter then unknowingly bump into someone.
"You mother fucking piece of shit." I hiss and when I look over at the person, it's Dad."Language Katherine." He warns steadying me to my feet.
He's dress in a charcoal black suit and looks older than his fifty something years. He works so hard and is rarely at home. Always traveling round the world.
"Who's Doris McKenzie?"
Dad has a small smile playing on his lips at the mention of the name.
"I found this inside your room."
I slip the photo of him and her into his hand. She and Dad where laughing and the background of the picture looked like it was taken at Flamingo restaurant here in New York."Katherine Jones, how many times have I warned you to quit sneaking into my room?" Dad's blue eyes twinkle with amusement as he stares down at me.
"Don't try to switch the conversation, who the hell is she?"
"She's going to be your mother." He pushes the photo back into my hand
"What!"
"See you in five days Katherine, I love you." He kisses the stun me on my cheek and climbs into his Jeep that is being hold open by one of his body guards.
I stand there, with my mouth agape as I stare at the retrieving figure of Dad's car out of the garage, followed by his convoy.
My brain stop processing and all it properly align is the word 'Mother'
Mother.
Dad is going to get a wife.
That bitch on the photo is going to be my mother. Holy fuck!
I throw the photo on the flattene grass area where I'm standing, and trample heavily on it repeatedly. Dad's in the picture too, but I don't give a fuck.
I keep on stomping and the stupid dog that Mr Pablo, our watchman is holding lets out loud aggressive barks at me
"Fuuuuuuuck! I let out the strident that has built itself inside my throat and transports itself to my mouth.
