It is Friday evening, I wish today never came.I have no other choice than to follow Dad to the Williams place if I don't want him to Carry out his threat. I took my time to dress up, styled my hair.I mean I need to look handsome.I haven't gone home since the day mum invited me over.I have been going to work from my parents house, Dad suggested that and I can't disobey him. " Daniel" mum yelled from the sitting room.I ignored her." Daniel, get down here now, we are running late" mum yelled again."Arrrhhh" i groaned." Am coming" i yelled from my room.🍭 Kathie POV 🍭
I was in my room dressing, today the Donald family are coming over for dinner here.Am sure their arrogant son too will be coming along with them. I really don't want to see his face, he irritate me, well I don't think I have an option I will have to see him. " Kathie darling" mum called entering my room." Yes mum" i answered." You are looking extremely beautiful" she said smiling." Thank you mum, you are the best" i pecked her cheek." Alright darling, quickly get ready and come down, the Donald family will be here soon" she said." Okay mum" i told her.She left my room. I sighed... My parents are so excited about this dinner.🍭 Daniel POV 🍭We are in the car, on our way to Mr Williams house. After thirty minutes drive we finally got there.

I heard the car horn, I guess they are here already.I quickly went down to join my parent in welcoming them." Kathie, the Donald family are here" mum said." I know mum" i said.The door bell rang.
My dad opened the door to receive them." Donald... Williams" my dad and mr Donald greeted hugging themselves.My mum and Mrs Donald also greeted each other, hugging themselves with a peck on each other's cheek.
My eyes met with Mr Donald son.
He smirked at me." Did he expect me to greet him just like our parents greeted each other??" I can't even imagine myself hugging him or pecking him..Fool..I ignored him." Mr Donald" i called hugging him.
" Woah, Kathie my dear, how are you?? He asked disengaging from the hug." Am fine sir" i said smiling." Welcome ma'am" i greeted Mrs Donald hugging her too." Kathie! " She exclaimed." You are looking really pretty" she said.My cheek flushed."Thank you ma'am" i said with a smile." Kathie my dear, have told you to stop calling me ma'am, you can call me mum, am also like a mother to you...okay? She said smiling." Yes mum.🍭 Donald POV 🍭
Our eyes met, I smirked at her.There is no doubt, she is really beautiful but I just don't like her. She greeted my Dad,after she greeted my mum." You are looking really pretty" mum told her.She blushed.I greeted Mr and Mrs Williams.
" Please come in" Mrs Williams ushered us in." Daniel, you are getting more handsome each and every day" Mrs Williams complimented me." Thank you ma'am" i replied with a smile.🍭 Kathie POV 🍭
We sat down at the dining.The maid dished out the food.I was sitting opposite Daniel.We were served our food..we all started eating.I felt his gaze on me, I just ignored him.I hate the fact that he is here.Our parents were also eating and discussing.I wonder where they left their table manned.
They should just keep quiet, eat quietly then talk later.
After some minutes we finished eating, the maid cleared the table.
We stood up and sat down at the sitting room.
Daniel mom and my mom were discussing.
Mr Donald and my dad also.
I just kept quiet with my eyes glued to my phone.
Even Daniel wasn't saying anything too probably he doesn't want to come too.
The feeling is mutual.I don't like him and he doesn't like me.Suddenly Daniel's mum spoke up.
" Well I was thinking, why don't we leave Daniel and Kathie alone, it's been long they saw each other and might have a lot to talk about besides they haven't said a word to each other since we got here maybe they are shy" she said smiling. " So what do you think?? She asked smiling." Well that is a good idea" Mr Donald said supporting his wife.My mum and dad nodded their head, obviously supporting her too.
The four of them stood up leaving Daniel and I alone in the sitting room.
What is wrong with Mrs Donald?
What am I going to say to him now?
I don't even want to talk to him.
" I so much hate this dinner" i mumbled under my breath.
" Same here" he also mumbled under his breathe.
But I could hear him.
