I was packing my stuffs in my shoulder bag. I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked super cute in my black sweater and above-knee length jeans skirt and my high tops. I packed my sunset brown hair to a centre bun. I applied a little eye liner and lip gloss and mascara.

"Danny you are a total hottie" I said to myself.

I took my bag and headed downstairs.

"Morning dad,  Morning Kelly" i greeted my dad and black American teenage step sister.

"Morning love" Dad said

"Where are you going to dressed so...wow?" Kelly said,  she was blending something in the kitchen.

I smiled at her compliment.

"Work!" I replied as i looked at my newly fixed nails.

"Work! You've got to be kidding me" she said

"It's my first day and i have to make a good impression" i said

"Wait a moment,  where do you work?" She asked

"A bakery" i replied

She burst into laughter.

"Good impression indeed" she sassed

"Can you shut up and pass me something to eat? I'm starving" i said as i sat

She passed me a plate of pancakes.

"Dad aren't you going to work?"  I asked

"Today is my day off" He said as he sipped his coffee.

"Okay yes. Kells what are you doing?" I asked

"Blending veggies" she replied as she turned on the blender.

I looked at dad and he shrugged his shoulder.

"Let me not ask why" i said

She giggled.

I finished my pancake.

"I have an advice for you" Kelly said

"Go on" i said

"You need to just take those nails off." She said as she poured her pureed lettuce into a bowl.

"Why?"

"How would you feel if you eat a cupcake and you find a broken nail in it" she said

Oh!

"You are right" i said as i went to my room to take them off then returned downstairs.

"Please will you teach me Spanish this evening,  i need to ace a Spanish test" she said

"No sorry. Me and the girls are meeting up this evening. Dad can help you out,  byeee" i said and left for work. I stopped a bus and got in.

"I won't be able to make it this evening,  it has to be postponed" i said as i walked into my dressing room.

I took my seat as the make up artist began to give me a make over. I was having a press conference at noon and i had to make it snappy in order to chat up with my girls.

"Miss Alexa,  your conference starts in an hour" my manager said

"Sure sure" i said as i went through some texts on my phone.

My hair stylist was doing her work.

"Hey, be careful" i said

"Sorry ma'am" she replied

Life of a celebrity was super tiring and boring without family and friends to encourage you. I just arrived Mexico city last night from a tour. It had been over a year since i met my childhood friends and i won't let this opportunity pass this evening.

I got a text from Ivan,  my ex.

Ivan:📱 Hey Super star

Me:  📱 Hi

*To be honest it felt weird chatting with an ex especially when i still have feelings for him.*

Ivan:📱 I heard you are back from your tour,  congrats

Me : 📱 Thanks. I actually have a conference right now. So nice chat.

I threw my phone on the dressing table and sighed.

I arrived at Alexa's conference. I was very happy that she was back from her tour. She arrived and took her seats.

I waved at her,  she smiled at me.

"Miss Alexa how was your tour?" A journalist asked

"It was exciting,  fun and wonderful"

"So about the song you released a week ago. Right now 'Starstruck' is on number one on billboard. Tell us what was your inspiration to that song" another journalist asked

"What inspired me to write that song was just about the life of fame. The funs and bumps of being a celebrity. Your challenges and all but you will still eventually rise to the top" she replied with confidence.

They nodded in satisfaction.

"When will your next tour come up?"

"Not sure when that's gonna happen but for now i just wonna spend time with family and friends" she replied

"And will that hinder you from dropping another hit"

"Surely not"

"How was it like starring in your first movie?"

"It felt good. I wasn't expecting Walter the director to call me on board to star in his movie,  but i was excited about it- cuz it's the first time appearing in a movie." She replied

"I heard that you would be acting in a new series coming soon. Is that so?"

"Not sure how you got that info but it's true" she said and everyone laughed.

"Alexa would be leaving now" her manager said

But the curious journalists kept trying to ask more and reach to her,  thank God for her bouncers.

Alexa escaped from the crowd and met up with me. She disguised herself in a hoodie over a face cap and dark shades.

We got into my car.

"I've missed you Lexi" i said as i hugged her tight.

"Missed you too,  all of you" she replied

I turned on the ignition and zoomed off.

I rushed downstairs and saw my mom

"Where are you hurrying too? I thought today was your off day" she said

"Why are you still home? Aren't you meant to be at work? And when did i get answerable to all my actions" i said

"Lisa dear,  I'm just looking out for you" she said

"Yeah,  i know. Hello mother,  I'm 23,  plus i go to work too" i said

"Okay,  let's just end it here. I won't be around tonight."

"Why?" I snapped

"I'm going for an important meeting" she said

She was obviously lying.

"I know you are lying." I said as i gave her a suspicious look.

"Okay,  fine go to wherever you are going" she said

I rolled my eyes and left.

I stopped a bus and got in. I took an empty seat beside a guy.

"Hey" he said

I looked at him and froze. It was Andy,  my former former ex. Yeah,  I've got a lot of ex.

"Lisa it's you. So nice to bump into you. It has been ages since i set my eyes on you" he said

"Yeah,  nice to meet you too" i said with an awkward smile

Andy was sweet but too clingy for my liking.

"So where are you going to?" He asked

"Since when did you become the driver?" I said between my teeth.

He laughed at my sense of humor which i thought wasn't even funny. I was damn serious.

"Still got your sense of humor" he said

I sunk into my seat and looked away from him. This would be a very long ride.

The taxi pulled over beside Fiasco Dance studio. I walked my 15 years old sister out.

"I will pick you up by 6 pm when you are done" i said

"I can just go home by myself. I'm not a kid anymore" she said

"Oh freckle girl,  you are my little sweet sis. So that is why i must watch you" i said as i tussled her hair. She had freckles on her face,  yeah.

My sister,  Natalia was ill. She has been battling with Congestive Heart Failure( CHF). Yeah( look that up). When she was 13, she underwent a surgery which was successful. But we need to still be cautious. Her cardiologist suggested dance classes for her as a relaxing activity to aid her heart beat and that was what I'm doing as a caring big sis.

"Okay fine." She agreed. I gave her her backpack and kissed her.

"Have fun" i said

She waved at me and went into the building. I got into the taxi and it zoomed off.

I arrived at our favourite café and meeting joint. I met the girls already. I was delayed at work. I went to take my seat.

"Hey girls" i said

"Hi Danny"

"How are you Alexa? Been like forever" i said

"I'm good and you?"

I gestured  an okay with my finger. We ordered some muffin and cookies.

"How was your tour?" Lisa asked

"Super fun" Alexa said

Alexa wasn't much of a talker but Lisa was.

"Guess who i bumped into on my way" Lisa said

Told you so!

"My ex" she said

"Enrico?" Alejandra said

"No" she said

"It's Santos" I said

She nodded a 'No'

"Then maybe David" Irene said

"No guys" she said

We looked at each other shocked.

"Then who?" I asked

"Andy" she said

"Ohhhh!" We said

"How many guys have you dated?" Alexa spoke up

"4" she said

We looked at her in doubt.

"Okay 5. I'm currently dating a guy now" She spilled the beans

"Don't you ever get tired" I asked

"I'm still looking for my Mr Right. All the guys I've dated are shitty dudes." She said

"There was nothing wrong with Andy" Alexa said

"He was too clingy. Why are you asking? Don't tell me you have the hots for Andy? Not like i care" she said

"Nah" Alexa said

"Why would she want to date your ex? When she tours with the Jonas brothers. I'm sure Nick has a hot for Alexa"

We all laughed and looked at Lisa.

"Whatever" Lisa surrendered

I looked across the road and saw Alexa as the cover of a billboard.

"Oh My cramps,  is that who i think it is?" I said

They turned to look. We screamed in unison.

"I'm on billboard" Alexa whispered not to attract attention.

"Congrats sweetie"

"Dips on the last muffin" i said

We struggled for the last muffin which Lisa got.

"Too slow" she teased

"Jerkface" Alexa said

"You calling me a jerkface" Lisa said

Alexa stuck her tongue out in mockery. Lisa nudged her and they began to tease each other until Alexa's cap fell off. Alexa bent to pick it when a waiter said

"Oh My Gush it's Alexa"

It drew everyone's attention and everyone began to run towards us.

"Time to bounce" i said

Alexa gave some bills to the waiter for our food and we rushed out into Alejandra's roofless car and she zoomed as Alexa threw her cap out the window.

People were struggling for the cap. Life of a celebrity! Heaven!
